Default Lowered and went for alignment... Perfect? :/

Well I took my ss for alignment this morning and I feel like I shouldn't have lol. I'm lowered probably 2.5 or more inches on coil overs and the alignment was pretty much spot on with a tad of negative camber. 1 minute of adjustment and I'm out $80 I guess I'm just. Bit peeved at that. I guess it was just worth knowing that I'm nit going to kill tires.

Alignment guy is a pro experienced racer and well known to everyone local in the state. Nice 4 wheel alignment machine and hrs aligned my vette with perfect results.

I'm not knocking him at all I think I'm just surprised the alignment was so close to being perfect after the lowering. I didn't install an adj phb because the wheels stick out the same on both sides. I guess if the thrust angle or anything were off he'd have seen it? Car drives exactly the same as before, which I'd pretty good.

FYI, It's not very often it works out that way, would you rather it be way off?

A minute or so of adjustment still 5-10 minutes of set up on a easily 10K+ piece of equipment.
But it is better knowing that the alignment is right.
$80 is next to nothing compaired to what you put into it parts wise.

if you trust the tech relax and enjoy, some alignments require adjusting each and all points and some require only one small move to reach a complete alignment.
these are the ones the tech enjoy. I like um,I like um,I like/liked um
I retired 3 years ago after aligning auto/trucks at same tire store for a little over 30 years
adv 10 units a day
= 50 per week
= 2600 per year
=x /30 years
=app 78000 units I practiced on/ learn to aligned
NOW this rambling DOES NOT make me a know it all , it only states that I receaved quite a bit of practic/learning the art of aligning cars/trucks
enough for tonite

ps: The equitment we use require an investment of 58 K with renewing each 2-3 years/ of cource we re sold the old/out dated unit, but still requires a large investment to have good equ and stay up to date with the auto makers
