grease or not grease new bushings
I'm about to install a front end kit on my 78 caprice (when it comes in the mail).
It will have rubber bushings. Should I put any kind of grease on them or is that a bad thing to do? Things like sway bar bushings and the such.
Thanks,
Brandon

Rubber doesn't need lube like the poly stuff.
If you need some lube to press them on etc...try and find some without petroleum distillates in it as they help break rubber down over time. I found some silicone spray at lowes hardware that works great esp on weather stripping.

Totally agree with the post above.
Grease is not needed on rubber especially a petroleum based lubricant.
If you still feel the need for it installation purposes I would use a full synthetic like Mobil 1

Thanks guys, will do.
I ordered my stuff from P-S-T. They told me one of my parts is back ordered and it's going to be another 2 weeks (they didn't offer me any kind of discount for the wait though).
I haven't driven this car in a very long time and I'm really anxious to get it on the road.
Thanks,
Brandon
