v6 and v8 rack pinon

are the rack and pinons the same for a power rack and pinon from a v6 and a v8 any info would help

im convinced they're different since everyone who drops in a V8 in a V6 changes them..
i could be wrong , but i believe they're different..

they will physically bolt up, but the steering shaft is different and the pinion angle of the two are definitely different.
