Default tube chassis

Has anyone ever installed a tube chassis with a 4 link rearend in a fourth gen? I have a 95 camaro wanting to go big block 468 with a tube chassis any info will be greatly appreciated. This will be a strip only car!!! Thanks Dustin

Since it appears that you're intention is to build a race car, I'd suggest contacting a shop that has a good reputation for building race chassis, and get a price quote for installing a NHRA certified roll cage, and the 4 link rear. You want to be safe, and have a car that track straight down the strip, so unless you're a competent welder, and have access to a frame jig of some sort, it's a job best left to a professional. For basic information, I'd look up Chris Alston's Chassisworks website...

Post this in the drag racing tech section. You'll get a lot more responses. Most guys on here don't tube chassis their cars. You'll see a lot of fast cars that retain 'most' of the stock structure. They add a 25.3 cage or something and go real fast.
