Default Replacing ABS module, is this a DIY?

I need to replace the ABS module on a 2002 Corvette, not the EBCTM, but the actual ABS module. I've read that it's difficult to bleed air from a new ABS unit because the ABS has to be cycled while bleeding. I don't want to end up with bad brakes later, so should I just take it to a dealership?

the following is related to f-bodies, but don't know if it applies to your vette as well.

The dealership will actuate the ABS electronically, however you can do it yourself by getting the car in the air and running it in gear. The wheel speed sensors will be triggered during the process, similar to running the car on a dyno.

I believe JL-WS6 posted something on this recently. I've gotten rid of the ABS for a proportioning valve though. That's the best way IMHO.

SJM may sell a kit for Vettes too, but I hope you know how to do double flares and brake line work.

ok, thanks. I think I'll replace the part and let the dealer bleed it, just to be safe.
