Try the search tool up top, there's quite a few people with this setup and this thread topic seems to pop up pretty often.

They work pretty good with the springs, from what I've heard. They just aren't designed to work with those rates and that suspension travel for super long....if you're looking to get a set of shocks that work with lowering springs (or stock ) very well and will last look into Koni's.

A search will net you a lot more results, more than I can say in this post (especially being I don't run them, just going off of the general consensus of people that have tried them).

I love my bilsteins/stranos.. rides much better handles better quicker response time.. a lot cheaper than konis too which is what I originally wanted but couldn't fit it in the budget

Just an FYI thing.... I have the shocks in stock, and springs are slated for delivery tomorrow, in case anyone is leaning this way.

Strano, whats your spring set-up cost AND what is the lowering amount? I am running the SLP Eibachs and wouldn't want my car to raise any.

Those are the springs. I'm guessing you already have SLP Bilstein shocks? Or no?

The lowering amount is 1.2" or so, seems to be very constant (and lower AFAIK than the Eibachs by a bit)

$275 shipped to your door. Lower about 1.2" but that does vary a bit since stock ride heights vary so much. Really tall cars might be more, lower cars like earlier LT1's sometimes are more like 1" vs. their stock springs.

If you have SLP Eibach's your car won't be higher than it is...

Thats good to know. I know the pro-kits and what not don't have the best reputation. However, what is your honest opinion on the SLP Eibachs with the Bilstiens? Good/bad combo? How does that spring differ then other Eibachs (if you know)? And then tell me what improvements would be felt switching to your springs with the same shocks (Bilstien).

Yes I'm running the Eibach/Bilstien kit that came on my car stock from SLP. I have the blue Eibach springs. I have since replaced the rear shocks with Bilstien HDs since I blew one of the 100k stockers out. Fronts are stock as far as I know. Its time for them to be replaced as well even though they feel fine, I know 100k is A LOT of bumps on a shock. Since their isn't much difference between the SLP spec and HD, I may just throw the HDs on there when I do replace them.

That's way, way too much to try and cover by an e-mail or PM. Call me, I can tell you spring rates, heights, whatever you need...
