Default Front sway bar end links

Just got turned on to a 32 mm frt bar from a 1LE. I know I will have to get new bushings, but I was told that if I get new end links they have to be a certian length. I looked at all the parts books I could find and they all have same part#. I called Energy Susp. & they said I should measure the end links.
Does anyone know what endlink kit will work? I be using poly bushings. I thought that end links for the 1LE set up should work. 2000 Z28
Thanks,
Harleydude

Let's see... I've got a 32mm Eibach front sway bar with endlink kit and the front endlink measures about 6 1/4 inches from nut to bolt.

The Eibach part number on my endlink/bushing kit is 3831.310HK

You want the "arms" of the sway bar to be paralell to the ground, with the car at ride height. Put the links that you have in the car, and see if the arms are paralell to the ground. If so, get a new link set the same length. If not, measure how much longer/shorter they need to be, then go to the ES website, hit the end link chart, and choose/order accordingly....

Swaybar diameter doesn't really factor into this equation.....

32mm from a 1LE? Sounds like you might be swapping almost the same thing. Unless it's like a 35mm that your taking out?

what is going on here? why would there be different length endlinks for oem stuff? this is not making any sense. Harleydude who told you that you need different length endlinks?

End link length is determined by ride height. See post #3. The factory puts in an "average" lenght part. Ride heights vary...if you want it right, you measure and determine exactly what is best for your individual car.

Who told me was someone at Energy Susp. But when I look in a camaro parts catalog or on any Suspension website they only show one end link. I'm taking off a 30mm and putting on a hollow 32mm, so I realize the support bushing are larger. When I get ready to do it I'll double check everything.
Thanks

That's because they're going by the "average" Camaro/Firebird ride height. In essence, they're giving you a "stock" length end link, just with poly bushings instead of rubber.....
