SLP/Bilsteins, or wait for Konis?
BTW, I'm not saying that the Bilsteins are bad, just saying that you might be happier with the Koni's even if it means waiting a little bit.
Though improved ride quality is pretty subjective to one's own opinion. That being said, I think my setup with strano springs and konis rides really nice, and I'm pretty damn picky when it comes to ride quality.

i was just wondering what kind of discount you could offer me with the konis on sale and a military discount.
I had originally planned to buy your 999 kit with the billstiens/lowering springs/hollow bars but if your konis are on sale I would like to see the price difference
Some folks buy new upper shock mounts because they can rust and seize to the old shock and you can't get the apart--but I can't know if you need them until the car is apart. So I can't call them a must-have.

Since the Bilstein install I've been driving in freezing temperatures and the ride is very firm. On really shitty roads there is some harshness, although no more than stock. We've been getting a few warmer days lately and I notice the ride isn't as harsh over broken pavement. When we get back into some nice 60 and 70 degree weather the ride should be very pleasant.
I would say $400 for a set of well-built shocks that make your muscle car handle more like a sports car and less like a Lincoln Town Car is not a bad purchase. While not as sophisticated as Konis, they are a nice replacement for the crappy stockers.
