i bought the sjm kit and by the time i was done i ended up running my own brake lines anyway. and the way i did mine looks even cleaner than sjm's kit. i would just get the parts seperatly if i could go back and do it again. even the double flare tool that came with the kit didn't work. the lines kept slipping out of it so i rented one from o'reillys that worked awsome. good looking kit and customer service, but i definately wouldn't recommend it over just doing it yourself.

i need to take some pictures but i did mine pretty much just like yours except my proportioning valve is where your line lock is and the line lock is where it normally would be with the kit. i just put the rear brake line T right when the single line from my prop. valve gets under the car. i bet if we could fit the line lock and proportioning valve right up next to the master, it'd look really clean.

Ya, I just wanted the prop valve where I could adjust it. I'd like to see some pics of your setup. You probably did it w/o the motor in place? You're right - the super clean install would be to have everything at the master. I had the same problems with the brake line slipping thru the flaring tool clamp.

If you guys want to form your own lines setting the components in alternative locations, we can offer the kit as NON formed with the supplies that you'll need. If you piece purchased what you need, there will be little to now savings.
The base kit which would include all the fittings and lines needed and INCLUDES the adjustable wilwood valve is 139.99. If you want the additional line lock kit option, you'd add 40.00.
Installing a kit as shown above would be difficult with the engine in place.
We do offer the wilwood adjustable valve by itself as well.
Obviously, the preconfigured preformed kit is the easiest way to convert the car.

i'll try to get some pics up this weekend but i did mine with the motor in the car. it was a pain but do-able. the hardest part was definately flaring the two factory front lines that go into the T.
