What brakes can I fit inside Torq Thrust 2s 17 inch
#21
c5 braek
I want to upgrade my brakes, but I noticed my Torq Thrust rims actually have less room to the calipers than the stock ws-6 wheels did.
My question is is there any brake systems that will work with these rims
examples are c5 brakes, any willwood calipers? or whatever you guys have found that works.
I know cts-v and c6 z06 brakes are out of the question with these rims

The ribs are there for strength. Take them away and they are no better than the LS1 caliper.. Hell, they even have smaller pistons than the LS1 calipers. Their only redeeming factor is the strengthening ribs and the fact that they are made with a slightly better casting process.
Run spacers or get a Baer kit if you are set on these calipers. Or get different rims.
If you ever plan on seriously tracking your car, I recommend a 4 piston setup with a deeper offset that will clear without spacers.

I suggest not doing this unless its a last resort.

Eibach makes a hubcentric spacer that works quite well.. Them being a german company, you should be able to get them in the middle east.

here is a question, will the C5 z06 caliper bolt to the stock ls1 spindle? I have brand new decela rotors now so I want to wait a little while to upgrade to the c5 rotor, but my question is a c5 zo6 caliper a direct replacment for the 4th gen ls1 caliper
