Prep for 12bolt, which mod will be better?

Default Prep for 12bolt, which mod will be better?

After my clutch, it looks like I could be getting good deal on a 12bolt with some 4.10s and spool (the spool will be changed out later this year for a posi/trutrac/wavetrac if I go through with it)... Right now I have UMI: LCA reloc brackets, adjustable trans mount torque arm, adj panhard bar, poly trans mount.

I'm thinking I'd like to add another suspension piece to it, not sure if I can do them both exactly right now.. I'm looking at either some adjustable rod-end or roto-joint LCAs, or a torque arm relocation bracket.

I'm seeing the torque arm relocation bracket helping keep the transmission planted, along with keeping the pinion angle more consistent on heavy launches and shifts. And seeing the LCAs just keeping the rear planted a little better in general. Which mod would be more beneficial at this point?

I wouldn't suggest a 12 bolt for a M-6 car.
A dana 60 or a 9" will hold up much better.

I you want a drag car, set up the suspension for it.
Shocks, springs relocation brackets adjustable TA etc.

12 bolts seem to be hit or miss with stick cars. Mine lasted for a while launching with slicks. It finally broke a tooth off the ring gear last fall. About your question, I'd definitely get the torque arm off the trans.

I am in the same boat right now as you are. I have my 12 bolt in the car, and I have a different wheel and tire setup now too. I am having a friend make me some adjustable lca's and a adjustable panhard bar because with the big tire, they sat too far back in my wheel well and I couldnt even fit my finger between the tire and rear fender.

Before I even take my car out of the garage from winter storage I am also getting a torque arm relocation. My bmr is trans mounted and that worries me with the new rear.
