Default lower control arm not long enough

I have sporn on car adjustable lower contro arms and they have worked fine. I installed my relocation brackets today. Passenger side went just fine but the driver side is too short. I know I should be able to just wrench on the lower control arm and it become longer but i cant break it loose for nothing!

Go inside, eat some Wheaties, break loose the adjuster.

it might have got weathered in there.....a bunch of crap around the threads.
I had the same problem with my torque arm, couldnt bust it loose for nothing!!

your going to have to take the control arm off and break that puppy loose and screw it all the way out and clean those threads and the inside threads....and them it will turn nice when its on the car.

at least yours is a control arm and easy to get to......and not a freakin torque arm.

You can try a little heat with a torch or you can try letting some PB Blaster soak in and it should break loose.

def need to get it broke loose so you can adjust if if necessary, but take a ratchet strap and pull the rear end forward. If you didn't make any adjustments to them when you took it apart, you should be able to just pull the rear forward to line up the holes....
