Default Is the control arm bent?

I have a 2000 Trans Am. I believe the drivers side lower control arm may be bent but I'm not sure. Alignment is off, too much positive camber and the arm is adjusted all the way over. I have the arm off the car now. Do you guys know of a way to check this? I'd like to know before ordering a new arm. Thanks.

A picture would help. Stock A-arm or tubular?

Stock stamped arm. Will post pic. Why the knuckle? Is that the first thing to go?

I've heard of them getting tweaked in a curb hit. Haven't seen it happen myself, though.
