Default need help removing torque arm

I can not get the front bolt out on the back of the ta. It is bound and it doesn't look like it has enough room to come out of the top before it hits the underside.

Do the end links on the sb need to be removed to allow the axle to drop more? It seems like the axle is not dropping as much as it did when I installed the axle.

I need help with this asap. I need to get it done for tomorrow.

i would remove the two lower shock bolts before messing with the endlinks. youll get more movement by doing that then endlinks.

Why did you need to completely remove it? Were you installing a T/A relocation bracket?

I've never needed to remove that bolt for the countless times I have pulled it. Why don't you just loosen the two nuts on the transmission mount through-bolts, remove the top clamshell bolt, remove the bolts attaching the T/A to the differential, and pull the T/A off. After you have removed the clamshell bolt, you should be able to separate the two halves and remove the T/A entirely. That, IMO, would be the easiest way to change that bushing - on a workbench in the garage instead of underneath the car.

I will try it this weekend. It is the first time changing the bushing so I know I will make mistakes and figure out better ways to do it next time. Thanks for the advise.
