Default Decent front Rotors?

Anyone have any advice on front rotors that won't warp after three months? I paid about $700.00 for AC Delco drilled/slotted rotors a couple years ago. They lasted about three month before they were warped, AGAIN!!!!! Any way to avoid this crap? I've had to have them turned about 3 times since I bought them!

I don't autocross but go down the drag strip and had great experience with Power Slot rotors. It's been a little over 10k miles now and they still work and look great.

A lot of rotor "warping" comes from pad choice and driving habit. Heating the system up and getting uneven pad deposition which leads to more hot spots and more irregular pad deposition.

How are you driving the car exactly and what pads do you use? I have driven Fbodies for nearly 11 years now (2000 V6 and then my 2001 Formula) and I personally have not "warped" a stock or stock replacement type rotor but I tend to try to stop a little short and roll up when I am driving on the street.

I have used the stock AC Delco pads, some crappy semi metallics from a brake shop (they dusted like crazy and made some noise, but they did stop the car decently), NAPA Ceramix (which I think go by a different name now) and currently Satisfied GranSport 6's.

I feel I'm not HARD on pads, etc! I'm just getting pissed that my rotors don't seem to last!
