Default Knocking sound in right front.

Had this knocking in right front, was very audible when pushing on right front fender, or hitting ANY ripple or bumps.

Had techs at work look at it, and they jumped right away to my worn lower strut bushing (but that was just an easy way to get me out of the shop I think haha).

I went up to parents on weekend and identified noise coming from top of strut. So I figure for the 30min it would take, I yanked strut out.

Found the noise :

Upper control arm mount (that slips over strut) was so rusted it was spaced away from strut and would knock when pressure was applied.

I sanded it away and put a rubber filler in ontop of strut as that bushing is worn too. Greased everything up, its 90% better cant hear it inside car, but ts a SLIGHT knock when pushing down on fender. (Easter Sunday, nothing open haha).

So what would I call that part control arm mounts to. I cant find it anywhere.
