Default Brake lines and ABS delete questions

Well SJM just called me, seems they don't offer the braided kit anymore if you have done LS1 brakes on your LT1 car. I do want braided lines though, so what should I do? I have used the stock LT1 brake lines with the LS1 calipers though since 2006. Does anyone offer up a kit with the longer lines? Still have the stock LT1 brakes in the rear. Or would I be fine with just getting a braided kit with the LT1 length then?

The ABS delete kit is on the way though. What all can I get rid of? Wiring, does the ABS have a computer, etc.??

hm, dont know much about what lines to get, but ill be ordering an sjm kit soon, within the week...

i think you can delete just about everything abs...down to the wires and sensors for them. and of course the abs block.

wish there was a way to tune out the "brake" and "abs inop" lights though....ug!

I just pulled the cluster out and painted the light black so you can't see it.

So can I just order a 3 channel LS1 braided hose set? You'd think I'm asking how to best sacrifice my dogs to Cthulhu or something around here.

Is there any reason I can't just take the ABS bulb out, or does that cause some weird cluster issues or something?

I guess in regards to the ABS, does all the abs wiring go back to the block? Yeah I can't wait to get that hand slicer out of the engine bay and give me some more room on that side.

Anybody? I guess at this rate I'll just have to call Sam Strano on Wed. to get my brake line answer.

I looked at their site, I didn't see anything that was LS1 front lines, LT1 rear lines.

Well I don't know what I want to do. Factory lines have been fine this long at this length, I guess I'm just being paranoid? I suppose I could just order a LT1 brake line kit?

Sent Flynbye an email.
