Default Question About A-Arm Alignment After UMI K-Member Install.

On the K-Member there are holes for the A-Arm bolts and guide holes aswell. My lower A-Arms have some play were they slide around in the holes and guide pins in the K-Member though. So is there a specific place they need to be to be aligned correctly or do i just bolt them up since everything else is in place were it should be? Just to let you guys know they are the stock A-Arms.

try centering the bolts on the slots and tightening down for rough starting point...

no matter what, you have to get an alignment after this install. best to mark the location of the stock parts before removal to get it closer... but if you already have it apart, then you'll just have to put it in the center and take it right to the alignment shop.

On the stock "K" member, IIRC, it was 65 ft/lbs for the "camber" bolt, and 75 ft/lbs for the "caster" bolt.

yeah there are torque specs... but remember that the alignment guy is just going to loosen everything up to do the alignment, and you know they arent going to torque anything to spec.
