Default Steering rack and shaft issue in here!!

Hey I installed solid motor mounts and while the subframe was out decided to replac the rack and pinion since its leaking. Bolted it all together and can not get the steering shaft/ flex cupler on. It is at an angle that its hitting the header. So I did some research and found that the autopart store gave me a heavy duty rack (F41 option) and I needed a standard suspension rack since my car was equipped with FE2 option....My question is has any ever had this problem?? Is there a different steering shaft that I can swap on instead of replacing th whole rack??

Yea I understand there are 2 options, but why is one different from the other. I mean what is the difference between a f-body with a FE2 suspension and a F41 suspension?? Why does it fit in one and not the other?? Does it have a different subframe or something?? I just dont understand...

Same style mounting on subframe, different steering angles.
