do front adjustable shocks/struts lower the car

do front adjustable shocks/struts lower the car i was looking at buying the single adjustable QA1 hal front shocks with 300# springs, will these lower my car?? i want the race stars 15x3.5" front skinnies but i dont want the gap that comes with them
Most the aftermarket shocks come with a threaded shock body that use a special spring that will allow ride height adjustment by raising or lowering the lower spring mount. You may also want to look into a different brand of shock vs the QA1s... they are an "ok" shock, but dollar for quality the Strange and Afco shocks are a much better deal. We can get you into the Strange shocks for usually the same or less than the QA1s even, and you get a much better shock.
