Default Any advice

My front bushings just started squeaking. I am replacing upper and lower control arms and shocks on my 98. Any advice would be appreciated. Is there anything I need to know about swapping the springs over to the new shocks?
Thanks
Jim

You may need to cut the top nut off because they rust badly. And I hope you didn't get stock replacement shocks, waste of money...

Completely agree, there would be no good reason to not replace them with aftermarket shocks.

I think JD was referring to stock style replacements as opposed to a Koni, Bilstein or even KYB.

Dont know if this is what you meant, but I thought I would just clarify..

Thanks for the advice guys. JD I couldn't get anything from that link though.
I definitley wont be using stock shocks. The Bilsteins look good for the money. With the front I was just wondering if I needed some kind of special tool when I swap the springs. I think I'm gonna keep stock springs.
