Long-story-short, my 99 Firebird Formula got busted up pretty good in the Passenger Front while on Hot Rod's Power Tour a week ago. I'm looking for a donor car to replace the entire Front Clip as well as rob as many of the other incidentals that I'll need to put my car back together.

My question is, are the K-Members on the Base V6 Firebird identical to the Formula and Trans Am platform?

I'd like know if I need to look for a Formula or T/A, or if I can get away with finding a nice V6 to scavenge my pieces from. Plus, with a Base Firebird, I will already have the correct Nose/Bumper Cover for my Formula.

 

The K member is different unfortunately.

Buy the BMR or UMI Xmember and use the rest of the parts from the donor car. Besides, you will save about 25 Lbs.
