What suspension mods should I get to reduce the feeling of floating at high speeds(100+)?
That feeling that the body o the car is floating on the frame?

maybe drop the front, or raise the rear .5 in maybe a full inch, and tighten it up a little, had my 85 camaro start to float at 130, know what ya mean and its scary, the trans ams make enough downforce to where i havent felt it yet but havent gone as fast yet. well see lol

67,000 it's an 02...and hmm, that actually makes sense because I'm on an eibach prokit and the rear is lower than the front by about 3/4 of an inch...but I can't lower the front anymore or it won't clear any speedbumps...anything else i could do?

If something isn't broken (like a swaybar endlink) or very worn (like parts mentioned 2 posts above) Id put my money on shocks. Lack of shock dampening = floaty, loose ride like a boat, the car will feel like it doesn't settle down. Even with front end lift from bad aero, good shocks will have the car feeling planted. Factory shocks or drag shocks (Qa1, Afco, strange etc.) will give you this feeling. A sport shock like Bilstien, Koni, KYB, Penske, etc etc. will give a planted, firm feel, the opposite of floaty.

What shocks are you on and what other suspension mods do you have?

There are plenty of cars going much faster than 130 mph on Strange and Afco shocks without feeling the float being described. If the owner of the shocks doesen't learn to adjust them they shouldn't use the brand of shock for the blame.

I certainly don't doubt you noticed a difference, the stock decarbons suck, but if you can't find anything else wrong/broken with your setup then Id look into getting better shocks all around (maybe SLP bilstiens at least?).

You have a shock issue... namely a lack of rebound control. Gas-A-Justs aren't very good shocks.
As for cars going 130+, I'm guessing you mean at the drag strip, and they move all over the place. Those shocks aren't for stability, they are weight transfer and if you watch any car setup for drag racing they move around a lot.
To compare a Koni to a drag shock of any kind in terms of stability at speed is a joke.

Maybe I'm thinking about the other model kyb makes, I know there are 3 main ones.
And sam what would you suggest instead of gas adjusts? I still don't have new shocks in the rear. I'd really rather not go through changing the fronts again...
And I also do have old tires up front, they are bad. New bfg g forces in back though.
Would it make a big difference if I got new shocks in the rear?

on a lowered vehicle, i personally wouldn't go with anything less than Koni 3/4 or 4/4 adjustables.
with the prokit & sportline springs, you need all the dampening you can get, and the Koni's will definitely be able to accommodate that.
if you go back to stock height, you could go with much less expensive shocks, such as the Bilstein HD's.

what other suspension pieces can help with this? sways, tq arm, subframes...? im sure every piece does its job but didnt know if there was one that stood out other than shocks
