Default Problems bottoming out

Hey guys, I just replaced parts of my suspension on my 00 V6 camaro the other day and it has actually made my ride quality worse.

My car had 165k on an all stock suspension, after putting on my 18x10.5 rear (285 width) rims/tires along with the 1 inch wheel spacer, my car's fenders were slapping the tires whenever I had any weight in the car (usually 3 passengers).

So to relieve that, I decided to buy KYB AGX shocks along with Eibach Sportline springs to both lower the car and hopefully fix the fender slapping. After 6 hours of work, unfortunately it didnt work regardless of how stiff the AGX's were set.

On my test ride, I found that the car handled amazingly, the turns were tight and the car felt great overall, minus the fact that on the smallest pothole my tires were slapping the fender.

What can I do to fix this? I have already ordered 1/2 inch wheel spacers being that the full inch really isn't necessary to begin with. I really don't think that will be enough to solve the problem though. After doing some research I believe that it could be the spring compression is to easy for the rear of the car. Maybe a bump stop mod in the rear could help suck in the tires a bit so it wouldn't be hitting the fender?

I'm hoping you guys could shed some light on how to fix this problem. Thanks.

Have you rolled the fender lips yet?

Your ride will get worse with the sportlines. Get Strano or BMR springs

If your problem is with the tires hitting the outer fender lips then you just need to roll the fender lips and probably a adjustable PHB to re-center the rear end assembly, you do NOT need spacers, unless the tires are rubbing the inner fenders.

Why would you lower your car with the worst lowering springs out there to try to fix tires hitting the fender?
