Default Looking to replace front & back Struts.

I'm wondering what everyone would suggest. I've been told Skunk2 is the way to go for a decent suspension upgrade.

-Thanks

Struts? On what kind of car....f body's don't have struts. If you're looking for shocks then bilistien or konis are the best out there. And plenty of springs like bmr strano hotchkis or vogtland. It depends what kind of drop you're looking for.

Skunk2 is, as far as I know, predominantly for the import side of things...not sure if they even make anything that would bolt into our cars.

You can do a coilover conversion on an f-body, but it's not too cheap; otherwise, you're just going to be replacing shocks and springs, not struts.

Sorry for my ignorance. I've been doing a lot of research and talking to people about parts. I must have blacked out while typing.

I'm not looking to drop the car much at all. I'm replacing the exhaust and with LT Headers I would like as much clearance as possible.

I appreciate the thoughts and I will do some homework.

An inch or 1.25 will be fine for a drop and improve performance and over all stance I have lts with clearance running on bmr

You won't affect ride height unless you get different springs.

The front suspension is commonly confused with struts because it is a coilover design, but it is still a shock.

One hint - when you go to do front shocks, get new upper shock mounts. Well, the parts stores will call them upper strut mounts. The rubber will probably be worn and has a good chance of tearing when you separate everything. Get Moog or OEM only, others tend not to fit right.

If you have a 4th gen fbody, no it does not. Not unless you did some really wacky custom suspension job

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
