I gotta find/diagnose/eliminate a load 'noise first somewhere in/underneath rear, started recently and getting worse. Then I gotta finish rebuilding my OEM 3.23 rearend to put back in,the 4.56 rear assembly will just get stored till I want it. Then build a 3.73 or 4.10 rearend because the 4.56 rear is too much for the 1/4,great for 1/8. When the snow comes in Dec,I'll probably start fabbing the new design(s) for mounting come spring.

but yah if you cut off the fac mnownt all to gether & replace it with one that has mutibil mownt points it's lighter, stronger, cheeper & fully adjustibil. same as for the phb mownts
thay allso have a wats link for like $60 & bolt on phb mownts one culd use to fab up your owne set up, just wuld have to make a chase mownt.
it's just some stuff I fownd, that I'v ben looking @ / thinking about.

The re-design was similar to the design of the LCA/rearend in this thread.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspensio...-rear-end.html

It worked but because of ride harshness, binding because of fighting the OEM torque arm, and only work with OEM LCAs',it was abandoned. The middle hole of the LCA relo was bracketed to the holes in the OEM LCA. The bolt in bracket/strut to accomplish it had to be tightly dimensioned to what was on the car and had no flexibility to be able to fit on another vehicle. It lacked the 'universal fit'.
Currently in re-design to attain a 'universal fit' along with a 'lift bar' effect.

I didn't take any pics of that setup, but I'll try to find the drawing and take a pic of it to make a jpeg pic for this thread.

this is a sketch of what I tried.
the 'lift bar' effect worked great for added traction, but normal suspension compliancy for regular street use and comfort was gone with one of the 2 pivot points no longer a pivot point.
