Pop noise from lower right Help! (pics)
I am getting a single pop at low speeds while parking mostly. It will happen only after the car was going forward and the direction is changed or vice versa reverse to forward (not while switching, afterwards while the car is rolling and the brakes are applied). Its a single pop from the front right, passenger side. Car has 160,000 miles. I just did the tie rod ends a few months ago. I jacked up the car and made sure all the front end bolts were tight. I checked the passenger side wheel/tire at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, no free play so I do not think it is the upper or lower ball joints, or the tie rod end. The spring is seated so it can't be that. the bushing on the stabilizer link is tight too. I checked the lower control arm bushing and it appears cracked, see picture below. I was also thinking it may wheel bearing. Any ideas?

The bushings have holes in them from the factory to let them "flex" but your are pretty dry rotted and with that many miles I would go ahead and replace them. I just did my whole front end it wasn't that bad. No more weird *** noises and tracks straight too.
