Default Whistle/Howl type noise coming from rear brakes

My car has developed an whistle/howling type noise and it is typically only audible while I am at a stop. I can hear it by the rear wheels when I get out of the car. Its NEVER made this noise up until I recently swapped out the rear rotors and brake pads with new ones (with the help of another member).

What could be causing this noise? Its pretty damn annoying to hear it at idle.

Thanks guys!

Yeah I believe you're right. It doesn't make sense for the brakes to make noise when the car is not moving.

How difficult are fuel pump installs? Are they pricey?

It sounds like its gotten worse. Its like a whistling tea kettle. I think thats the BEST way I can describe it. Is the only thing that could cause that be a fuel pump?

I looked at the install and it looks VERY labor intensive and not something I feel comfortable doing myself. You need to drop the rear end and everything? Why must they make it such a PITA.

If it is the pump you could always do the trap door method. Makes things alot easier

Does anyone know if that would work on the V6 cars also?
