Default Floating rear end

So I'm goin to check everything but can I have any insights as to why this rear ends? I have non adjustable lca's, eibach ProKit, new Bilstein shocks, dual adjustable phb. I'm gonna put on relocation brackets this afternoon and I will double check everything.

An example: when I hit a bump I can feel the rear bouncing around more than it is supposed to, any help would be awesome!!

Is is bouncing side-to-side or more of a float from being unsettled?

More so side to side, when I hit bumps it feels like it moves back and forth and when sharp turning it feels like it drifts out a bit the comes back when I straighten out. Even my gf noticed that yesterday. And the brand new rear shocks were put in a year ago

Panhard rod bushings are prolly shot and allow side to side slop that is very noticeable.

This is a posibility. I would get under there and check all your bushings and bolts out. Side-to-side movement sounds like something's loose.

My buddy and i checked all the bolts a few weeks ago and everything was tight. Weird thing was I could twist my panhardbar a bit left and right, I didn't think that was normal.

The lower control arms too? Well if everything was tight and the bushings looked good, then the lateral movement coming from the back of the car could be a suspension issue or your tires. Make sure your tires are above 35psi.

Pretty typical, actually. The stock panhard is comically flexible...same with the torque arm and LCAs.

I had an issue like this and it turned out to be bad bushings in the aftermarket LCA's.

I hope it's not that lol if it is, does that mean I need to replace the LCA's or can I just get the bushings?

Well the relocation brackets are on, car feels better over bumps after removing the LCA at the rear end and cleaning it off then reinstalling it, we also check the coils to make sure they are on and they are . . . . still the same side to side effect, but it makes less noise and moves a bit less. i drove my buddies lowered SS (same coils as mine) and his rear end does not do this next we'll check the point where the shock is held in on the interior of the car and after that if it's still makin noise it'll go to a shop and they can fix it

I've had two 98 LS1's - both with mostly stock suspension.

Both of the rear-ends felt floaty in the corners.
I'm paying close attention as I'd like to know what works for you. I'm personally hoping it's stock blown shocks.

Sway bar axle brackets & end links torqued up to spec? I had some odd side-to-side like motion in my rear on my RS on turns, and this was the issue.
