Default How to bring car back to stock height

ok my car has iron block 5.3 in it, and it sits low and scrubs like hell in the front sometime, what springs can i buy to bring it to stock height?

stock LT1 (iron block) springs should work... I have a set, with rears, I'll send you cheap

Even with lowering springs the aproximate 80lbs difference shouldn't make you scrape on a good set of lowering springs. Factory LS springs should be sufficent. Are you still using the factory springs?

The bumper or the lower, plastic radiator "spoiler" thing? I wouldn't worry about that little guy. It scrapes a lot at stock ride height. If you're actually scraping the paint off your bumper, clearly it's an issue.

LT1 springs are the same as LS1 springs.

Springs keep the car off the ground - your shocks are probably shot because of the springs

Meh, I don't know if I would say that. Take a picture of the car and let me see how the car sits up front. You can email it to kevin@bmrsuspension.com An iron block shouldn't drop a car that much.

I got your email. The car doesn't look like it's sitting too low at all, actually. It's slightly lower than stock, but no lower than any car would sit with a set of lowering springs. It's very common for these cars to hit in the front just because there is so much bumper extended ahead of the tires.
