They do indeed seem to be of the same design as the Kenny Brown SFCs, of which I have a set in my car. I installed them back in '97 or '98. They also sold a 6 point, bolt in roll cage.

I think it was a short time later, KBR closed due to some sort of health issue that KB was experiencing....

Default I bought some!

I bought some,,,they showed up and look very nice. My ace mechanic/fabricator/welder installed them this evening on his lift. Will pick the car up tomorrow and see if there is any difference in the ride and handling creaks groans etc.etc.etc.

Default SFCs

Drove the car today with them installed and it IS a tremendous difference on how solid the car feels. No creaks and groans or the usual feel of looseness over bumps in the road or rough road conditions. The car darts and feels much tighter. GM should have put a factory style SFC in them from the factory or made it an option. Its a darn sports car so build it like one. Always having to improve everything on these cars.

ordered a set.....can't wait....I have a MIG welder, but how do you recommend me get under the car in order to weld it while keeping load on the suspension. If I drive it up two ramps left and right....will it be alright or does the car need to be level?? Thanks.

Default Install

Car needs to be level and suspension fully loaded. Hard to do without a lift unless you are 4 foot 6 and weigh 60lbs. The ramps would be ok if you have it on ramps front and back. Drive it up on ramps then pick up the rearend and place ramps under rear tires. You will have to trim the fuel line shield to get fitment on that side but no big deal.

And they're what? Like $100 less than any competitors?

Glad it worked out for you. Your review on the SFCs is much appreciated! Thank you again for your order and your review.

Folks we have a couple left in stock ready to ship. After that it will probably be a 3-4 day lead time to build more and throw them into the stove for powdercoating.

You can only find 2 point SFCs from other mfgs at this price for 3 points from J&M. Get them while they are hot at this price!
I will do a review as soon as I can....however, it will be a while b/c my car is actually out of commission for a minute.....thanks.

32 pounds when shipped. And that's good when you compare other competitors 2 point SFCs that weigh the same amount when shipped compared to these 3 points.

We just got some in red, just a couple sets, so if you've been waiting for these in RED. NOW is the time to get some as once they run out, it'll be another week or two before there are more available.

Yes there will he issues unless do custom extended true duals and mis shape them. Easier to do exhaust, then add welded bars for 3 point setup after for best clearance and fitment. That's what I'm doing. Better to have hollow bars round or square than solid flat pieces adding more weight.
