Default Worth it to go from poly/rod to rod/rod?

I'm currently running spohn poly/rod LCA's and PHR's. Because of the arcing motion of the rear in a turn I realize the need for rod ends to alow for that range of movement...but would I see any improvement from my current setup by going to a rod/rod end setup? It seems, to me at least, that the one rod end would have enough range of motion to facilitate the suspension travel in the arc motion. Am I wrong? Would I gain anything by going rod/rod?
