Want a softer ride? Air your tires down. Amazing the difference in harshness 5 psi in the tire makes. No shock can dampen an over-inflated tire. I run mine at 25 max and 22 is even better for ride quality I have found that initial pitch in feel when jerking the steering wheel quickly will make the softer sidewalls flex, but that's a perfectly acceptable trade-off.

Good? Yes. Great? Can't say that as most of those who have Koni's tend to chose to run them at settings that do not mimic Bilstein's, based purely on having the option and picking what they like best. Please note a few things. 1. The fact Bilstein's are way better than stock means folks put them on and say "wow, who'd want anything more?". It's a relative change, there is more to be had. 2. You are asking the shock to more than what was intended for the life of it. Over time, as little as a year depending on miles driven, the Bilstein's will not be able to keep up with lowering springs (not just mine, remember many are stiffer than mine) and the damping control and ride will start to suffer in a similar way those things suffered as the OEM shocks wore.

Not at all, Strano's are great with Bilsteins. My friends TA has that setup and it's great. The stranos aren't as low of a spring either so the bilsteins should last longer with them.
