As far as SFC go no matter what you do if you want them to be functional you need to look at a 2 point that tie the frame together. Any others are not serving their purpose as the point of Sub Frame Connectors is just that connect the frame together. We do a 2x3 SFC but can do a tubular one as well. The issue with a round tube SFC is it takes away from ground clearance.
