Default lowered car with exhaust problems.

I lowered my car and now I have about 2 inches if exhuast clearance. Its some hme made system. A muffler shop said that's as good as it gets. But it only hangs low were the to headers come together right by the crossmember. Do anyone else have these same problems? Or is there a way around them with a different set up

Do you have any pics? If it's homemade, that would make me nervous lol. Which part exactly is homemade?

mine is lowered, im not sure how much clearance i have but my headers hang pretty low. i hope there arent any speed bumps where you're at lol

i dont daily drive mine, so i dont mind it much.

the only "fix" if any is go back to the stock y-pipe

Get a different header/Y-Pipe set up or just drive carefully... Some header/ypipe combos have marginal clearance on a stock height car, let alone lowered.

I'm on Stranos and have the SLP header/ypipe (older style) and I have about 2" of clearance where the headers meet the ypipe. I scrape once and a while, basically on speed bumps only. I just drive carefully and you'll learn quick which kinds of driveways you can enter! GL

I had troubles pulling into my garage as well. I just placed a couple peices of wood where my tires start to go into the garage to help "ease" the incline to it. Hope this helps ya!

Dont change your car to accomodate your driveway, Mod your driveway to accomodate your car!

^^ Sorry, I wasnt thinking clearly...my "pieces of board" sollution was for getting into my garage, not to keep from scraping. Who knows, it may help out somehow with your scraping problem. Just trying to throw out ideas for ya

If you have to get BBKs, they tuck up more than about any header setup
