Why weren't GM front springs tested? Also, what year are the GM rear springs from? I believe there is variance from various years.

Also, anyone know if 2001-2002 front or rear GM springs are any different from Z28s to SS models?

They have the regular black springs, which are the same regardless of year or model.

Then the blue springs which is a 1" drop and was only an option on SS/Ws6/etc models.

If you need a set of stock springs I also have a set of those.

Weights for GM Stock (Front and Rear) and MOOG 162 Linear have been updated. The table is also sortable so you can choose lightest to heaviest or the other way around.

The Strano details are worked out. Should be an interesting next week or so.

First, nobody asked me. Second, I think I know how this test came about.... notice how only one set of fronts got tested and were some 45 pounds off the claimed rate.

I have you covered Sam. Springs I have are nearly brand new (one set is brand new other has around 1000 miles on them).

I also could send a set of used front stock springs if you would like wizkid, might make some people happy.

We shouldn't make any assumptions about my reasoning for the tests.

Yes, only one set of fronts for BMR were tested but this was out of curiosity. I didn't even feel the need to put them on my graph. As stated above, we have a set of Strano's coming and I will have you verify them as Strano's before we test them. I have a set of front GM springs I can test as well if I choose to do so.

This test data was geared toward rear springs. I don't want everyone in a tizzy over this and I certainly don't need the pot being stirred. Let's keep it civil.

Front spring test data has been taken down and will not be posted until the Strano's are tested.

I am also reviewing our test method for front springs. I want to be absolutely certain when these numbers go back up in the coming weeks they are without a doubt dead nuts.

Disclosure and Transparency: When one sponsor makes a smart@$$ remark about another sponsors product because of something I have posted, it causes me to pause, and take a harder look at my own test procedure and results. This will in the end will be a win-win for all involved.
