Good choice going with UMI.

We can help you choose the correct parts in the correct order to meet your goals.

Of course I love your parts list. The main thing I see, especially if you are going D1SC, is you will need your track rules and decide when they're going to require a cage.

Our WS6Vert got uninvited back after one pass...

For your main questions.

Poly is smoothest but takes maintenance to stay quiet. Roto-Joints are next in comfort. Rod ends are noisiest but most precise.
We see no strength trouble with tubular and it's a bit lighter.
CrMo saves a few pounds on the entire car and is a great choice to use the "best" but isn't necessary. We have cars in single digits on mild steel.
Adjustable is best if you like to tune. Single vs double depends on how much you tune and how long you want it to take. As cost goes up, time to adjust goes down (i.e. single vs double).

Let me know when you are ready to build and we'll get you fixed up.

A lot of this is going to depend on where/what you are willing to sacrifice (handling/stability, ride comfort, noise, hard launching).
Generally a car setup to transfer weight and launch hard rides and handles terrible but a car setup to handle well, be stable and ride well won't launch as well.
A setup like Konis/stranos will handle extremely well, be remarkably stable and ride well but not launch like a drag setup (still launch well though). And a drag setup like QA1s will ride and handle terrible (think old cadillac mixed with dump truck) but likely hook better than a handling setup.
Whatever you go with I would highly suggest doing one part at a time so you can see the real difference they make and decide what you want/dont want with your setup.

Rubber is the smoothest.
Also FYI Poly bushings can bind causing bad ride quality/handling and rod ended ones can cluck and cause noise.

Not trying to steal the thread but what kind of maintenance is required for poly bushings to stay quiet?

We suggest that our customers give each zerk fittings about 1 or 2 clicks with the grease gun filled with SYNTHETIC grease, not petroleum-based, every 2nd or 3rd oil change. This will not only maintain that the bushings stay quiet, but it will also prolong their life.

Poly bushings are the way to go for street use. As for the shocks that depends on what your going to do with the car 99% of the time. Personally I wouldnt use drag shocks on a car that isnt at the strip all of the time.
