Anybody running these rotors & what pads?
I have been looking at replacing my front rotors and pads. I am pretty sure that I am still running OEM rotors. When I first bought the car my funds were stretched since I was doing a tune up from front to back on the car. My pads were done and I threw some O"reillys gold(ceramic) pads on there til I could do better. Now the time has come to do better, which won't take much.
Is anybody running these rotors. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BEN-PRT5150/
They are bendix brand and they are priced well. I drive the car idk maybe 5,000miles a year. Not much since its not my DD anymore. I do not autocross, but I would like a better feel when slowing down from a spirited driving run.
Now onto pads. From what I understand ceramic should put off less brake dust. Which I do like. What should I be looking for in a pad. Ferro carbon? Aramid-fiber metallic? ceramic?
Does ceramic give up a lot of performance?
Also, what is a good fluid? how does this look-http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WIL-290-0632/ How much do I need to buy to be on the safe side?
