Default Cheap C6-Z06 Rotors

I was looking around for some C6-Z06 rotors for a front brake conversion and found
these from Amazon these from Amazon
. I found them doing a search for GM #19121787, which is the rotor number shown in the CTS-V brake conversion sticky. I was not sure if these were the right rotors since the info on Amazon shows an AC-Delco OE service rotor #177-1000 plus all the other rotors I found were quite a bit more expensive. Well I went ahead and ordered them for $148.43 total for two rotors (only $2.99 shipping!!) and I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. The packaging was good and the rotors look great. They are 14" diameter and I mic'd them at 32.1mm thick. I am going to use them with Wilwood Superlite calipers but I thought I'd post this info for guys doing the CTS-V conversion.

Nice, what kind of bracket are you using to mount the calipers?? I'm thinking about selling my cobra rear brakes and getting some wilwood calipers, but the same thing on the front would be badass

Well as you know from my 8.8 thread I build a lot of stuff so I'll be making my own brackets for the front calipers. I'll probably start a new thread in a few days if it works out like I'm planning.

Bob - You are correct. BrakeMotive (eBay) has a pair for $164 shipped and they are drilled & slotted. I guess the Amazon rotors aren't the super deal I thought they were. Like I mentioned I looked for the GM part number & really didn't find anything under $200 shipped for the pair. The other thing I like about the BrakeMotive is that they are plated. Thanks for the info.

I'll be following your progress. I have a 13" Wilwood kit and was looking at options for upgrading to 14. Thanks.
