another shocks question!
another shocks question! I'm noticing a lot of people are going koni setups... Are they the way to go? I have been considering getting QA1'S. But am starting to consider koni's now.... What to do, what to do lol
People who are using Koni's generally want them for handling and controling lowering springs better. QA1's are a drag shock. Two different worlds.

As mentioned above, the QA1 shocks are a drag shock and the Koni shocks are for handling and street comfort. Two different worlds indeed. The QA1 shocks will complete alter your ride in a negative way. I ran them on my SS for 6 years and they were brilliant at the track, but they didn't provide the dampening you seek for street use - even when upgraded to the double adjustables. The Konis, on the other hand, will alter your ride in a positive way. By the increased dampening ability of the shocks, imperfections in the road and cornering weight transfer are totally altered. Everyone I've spoken with who has gone with Konis is extremely happy with their decision.

I use my car for everything lol from daily driving to corner carving to drag racing! I browsed the bmr site and am not finding that special on my phone, I was able to find a package on Sam strano's site for koni's (4/4) and lowering spring for $1071...
Koni's are a great shock for a performance car, they can be adjusted, and if the range isn't what you need, re-vavled too.
