IMO, put a set of Bilstein shocks on it.

Bilsteins are very nice. I'm impressed with them for the price. Koni's would be choice #1, but Bilsteins are #2. Everything else, IMHO, I wouldn't bother with.

I use Monroe Made in America by Americans, they carry a lifetime warrenty and are reasonably priced for a Daily Driver!

A decent tire combo for ride comfort, narrower and more side wall will get you more compliance. I'd definitely go with Bilsteins.

A295/35/18 would be perfect on the 18 x 10's, plus you'd have a wide selection of tire brands/models to choose from.

If you have rough roads, then you probably want to go to a 17 inch wheel and tire. I think really rough roads there isn't much you can do to make your car ride well over them.

The Bilstein's are the best choice here. I have lots in stock, $379.99 for a set. I shouldn't but I will address the Monroe's. THEY SUCK for this car. I will use some of their products on somethings, but not here. THEY.... ARE.... TERRIBLE.... Doesn't matter where they are made. If you want to **** away money on junk for the sake of waving a flag, so be it. I do continually find it funny that this goes on when the cars you all are driving were built in Quebec.

Um.. Bilstein's and AGX's are about the same price... so, not only are the KYB AGX's not a budget alternative, they are more poorly built. Adjustable, yes... but not nearly on par with the way a Koni works, and frankly for street cars the Bilstein's deal with impact harshness much better too.

I'm looking at the KG5562 KYB GASADJUST MONOTUBE for budgets sake. Will they give a harsh ride? I have original OEs on now and they are shot. It's riding like crap on the 30 sidewall. Thanks for any reply. I'd love to try out the Bilstein, but I've thrown almost 5K at my car in the last couple of months.

Another vote for bilsteins here... 3K miles on them, and I can tell you my car felt brand new after installing them. It was like a new life was breathed into it. I don't DD mine much anymore, but did for about 3 months after just because I could haha. Smooth, stable, planted, predictable. They're not koni's.. I've never run koni's but these do everything I've asked and then some .. no less with drag radials on the rear haha. (do avoid the snake-like curves if you still have DR's on for daily use like I do, you can set the car for one curve pretty easy, it's that switchback that hurts lol)

Another vote for Bilsteins. They're a terrific shock and offer great bang for the buck.
