Default Lower rear control arms to clear wide tires 93 bird

Putting on 18x10.5 OE wheels with a 295 or so size tire.
Test fitted one of the wheels and they seem like there are going to be real close the rear lower contol arm.
Stock contol arm.
Is there tubular arm that is thinner or one that has a bend made in it to clear wide wheels?
I really am trying to avoid using any spacers behind the wheels.
Thanks in advance.

You'll be fine with the stock arms. Id worry more about getting the fenders rolled and having a big hammer ready

I used to have C6 Z06 replica wheels 18x11 W/295-35-18 Goodyear Supercars on my 99Z, no interference with lcas at all but I have Spohn tubular lcas! Tire was very close to inner wheel well on drivers side, used a BFH and solved that problem!!! Hope this helps. Larry.

I havent measured them, but most tubular LCAs do look thinner.

For LCA's we offer poly, Roto-Joint and rod end. Unfortunately, no rubber solutions.

Oh, and the OD of the tubing used in their construction is 1.250".

thanks

^^Just get a set of UMI arms. Like previously stated, you will be fine on your LCA to tire clearance. You shouldn't have to roll your fenders either. Probably a little smacking on the inner wheel well with a hammer, if that is even necessary. There are TONS of guys on this forum running 10.5" wheels with 295's without any modifications. Do a search and you will find a plethora of information on the topic.
