Default BMR adjustable LCA's grease fittings?

Just picked up some BMR LCA's used for a good price, only one problem they are missing these end pieces..

only 1 on each Lca is missing, so 2 total..

my question is, is it just to contain grease thats applied? Can any threaded piece be put in instead of the BMr pieces..

Jus' go into your autoparts store and ask for "Zerk" fittings. Thread some on until you find the right size.

I thought they recommended marine grease for the poly ends... But Batmobile is right about the zerk fittings. Either an auto parts store or a hardware store (Lowes / Home Depot) where all the trays and bins are for nuts and bolts.
