It definitely looks much better than the stock stance. I wouldn't mind seeing the back down another .5"-.75" but that is just my opinion.

Cutting one coil off springs in rear would drop it that much? .5-.75 inch???? May just leave it alone for now...... opinion considered.

My BMR's took a while to settle, so you might want to wait until you have few miles on them before you change anything else.
Heres mine after about 150 miles. After the install the rears were as high as yours looks to be... then they dropped.
Really happy with the look and improved handling with the BMR's.

The front looks great, the rear I have to agree sits a little too high. I will try the heater hose myself but with 17" wheels I may calling BMR again to be ordering the rear springs though.

That Red 97 above of a97transam's looks perfect, is that BMR front and rear springs ? Are those TTII's polished ? They look great !

My front BMR springs arrived today, surgery scheduled for Monday so it may be awhile before I get them on but it gives me a chance to stock up more parts

Thank you for the compliment. Yes, BMR's front and rear. Koni's on all four corners, fronts on upper perch, rear isolators are in place. The front has some weight removed, ABS/TC & A/C, so sits a ittle higher than some.
The TTII's are polished, bit of a pig to keep clean but I like them.

This is new pics from bmrs in front with new factory style shocks, hose mod in rear and well as removing one half a coil off the springs....

one half coil pulled rear down from 28 3/8 to 27 3/4 inches to bottom of fender.
No room for further meat in rear im afraid if i go any lower so this is the final deal.
Front measures 26 3/8 inches bottom center of fender.

How does it ride on the stock type shock? Mine are new, So if I could get away with it for a week or two until I can get konis or bilstiens, I'd like to lower it, it's killing me how high the front sits.

I think it rides fine. Its gonna be a little more firm because of stiffer springs in front anyway but i like it. And rear cant tell it rides any diff at all. Just looks better.

That is one good looking LT1 T/A! The OP is running the BMR springs in the front and the factory rear springs in the rear with the heater hose mod. That is why it has a good bit of rake and sits a little higher in the rear.

Now that is good looking stance! You should still have a decent bit of room left to run a decent drag tire in the rear without any issue. Let us know how she rides with the cut rear springs.

As far as ride goes i like it. Cant really even tell a difference in the rear even with cut coils. Front is a little stiffer but its gonna be with lowering springs. Since i cut half a coil it seems more stable handling. Even though i didnt even drop an inch in rear only (0.625 inches) it still made a world of difference in curves and wipping it back and forth lane to lane to test it lol. Compared to only having hose mod........

^^^ you said you cut half a coil. So half a circle right? This plus the heater hose mod only drop your car .625?
