Default Want to finally replace stock springs/shocks..

I do not want to lower the car and dont need a high performance shock. I just want new parts to replace the stock, squeaky parts. What combo would you recommend?

Firstly the shocks are probably not what is squeaking, its likely a worn bushing (swaybar D bushing or endlinks likely).
If you just want something new you could get a autozone replacement shock, but me personally I wouldn't pay a dime for something thats comparable to stock because the stock decarbon shocks suck a fat one for both ride and handling - why pay for something like that?
You can look into SLP bilstiens(less than $400), they were an option on these cars and will ride much better (and be way more stable) than the stock decarbons or a cheapo replacement.

Spot on. I have the SLP Bilstiens I bought from Strano and they work nicely, especially for the price.

I thought about this. Is it hard to replace these?

Not too bad. Be prepared to have to cut the old endlinks off. Bushings aren't too hard either, though you have to line it up right when putting it on there. I fought with mine for a while when I replaced the bar on my old car.

Like everyone else said Bilsteins are hard to beat for the money. Use your stock springs with them and you will good to go there. The squeaking is probably from the sway bushing, I would spray some WD40 or something similiar on the sway bar bushing and see if the squeak goes away temporarily. If it does you know what your culprit is.

Or it could be one of the many little squeaks and rattles that come with the chassis. I made peace with my squeaks and rattles long ago

Yeah, I shouldnt complain as much as the cam'd engine shakes the damn car, but the rear noise is getting much worse lately.

You got any poly bushings back there in those Spohn LCA's? Poly is a source of squeaks

Yes, SLP springs are supposed to be about .75" lower than stock. And no, not all SS's got SLP springs.

That's what I thought. Mine has them and is just low enough to not get other springs.
