Orange shocks
As the title says guys. I was under my 93 Trans Am and noticed that the tubes on my shocks, on all four corners are orange...are they stock or replacement, or performance? Thanks.

I will, they still work fine after 20 years and 187k. I run the eibach 2" drop kit, are there any shocks that are a little shorter so i have more travel and they dont bottom out? Especially in the front... I just need an inch or two. Thanks

True, those are great names in the shock world. But does anyone know if any of these shocks are any more compact or shorter than the stock ones, so they dont bottom out.

There are shocks out there valved for different applications, like lowered vehicles. Lowering springs will kill a stock valved/size shock like the DeCarbons. My Koni's are a perfect fit with the Strano springs. No bottoming out. Do you have stock springs? If you have stock springs and don't want to lowering the car there are excellent replacements that will solve your problem. What are the plans for the car?

Just FYI, my wife has a bad back, so if the car rides rough, she complains. Not one complaint on the 94 mile trip we took Saturday night and some of the roads aren't exactly smooth.
