Wheel spacers w/ stock WS6 rims Any one use them to make the stance a bit more aggressive? Any pics ? Tia |
a buddy locally did it. but be sure to use the hubcentric kind. |
I wouldn't do it without going with some stronger slightly longer ARP wheel studs. You will put quite a bit more stress on the wheel studs when they are spaced out more. |

I would think this would be more common since the massive gap between stock wheels and fenders. No one has pics? |
Definitely want to use longer wheel studs. The reason it isnt more common is probably because it looks horrible. As bad as stock wheels look with the gap between the fenders, looks even worst with the spacers on stock wheels. Might look ok from the side but when you get around to the back you notice a skinny 9in tire with a big gap on the inside. |

There is a difference between wheel SPACERS and wheel ADAPTERS. Spacers just slip on and longer, stronger studs are a VERY good idea to run them. Adapters BOLT on to the stock lugs, then the wheel bolts on to the adapter itself. Im running a 1" spacer in the rear of my car, but I need them. I have stock wheels widened to 11" so the 1" spacer gets the wheel to clear. I really like the way the wheel sits in the fender, but wouldnt do it if I didnt have an actual reason to run them. http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h...M/IMG_1414.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h...M/img_1747.jpg |
