Where are you guys buying these and which ones are you getting? I want a quality set that will fit on a lowered car for oil changes.

Long point measurements are 47", 34", 20" and 3 1/2" for the stop block on top. If I was to build these again, I would use 2x10s. The tires (275) hang over both sides as it is but, the wood was free, so that's what I used. If you have smooth concrete in your garage, it might be a good idea to coat the underside with something to keep them from sliding. The expansion joints in my garage are a bit uneven and right in the way of were I set my ramps up, so sometimes they slide a couple inches before the tires get on top of the ramps.

Here is a little write up on my ramps. I really like these and they have performed well for years.

Thanks for the idea. I got some Rhino ramps the other day but my front bumper won't clear it. So, I made a trip to Home Depot!

Oh, and I went with a 2 X 12 for the top.

I should so do this. Most ramps suck and hit the bumper, and having to get the jack out every time I crawl underneath to change the oil isn't much better, especially in gravel parking.
