Brake Pedal Travel

Brake Pedal Travel
I have a 2002 T/A Firehawk. Completely stock with 50,xxx miles. I am the second owner and have had the car for 6 years. 28,xxx miles when I purchased. Just replaced original front pads and rotors(rotors were warped). Rears are original and appeared to have good life. Car has been babied and rarely driven hard. I have always thought pedal travel was a little long before before the brakes "bite". I noticed a small improvement after replacing front pads. Today I bled old fluid out at all four corners using a motive power bleeder and no noticable difference.
Is this just the nature of the brakes on these cars? Any thoughts or advice?
Thanks
Justin

Hey Justin, your brakes didnt get worse they stayed the same right? Mine have some travel before they bite but every make and brand of car is different. You just get use to it.

1" travel before they start to bite seems about right. I feel like the first 1" does not apply much braking force, next inch brings a nice gradual braking feel.
This is the only 4th gen fbody I've ever owned/driven and wanted to see if this is how they are supposed to feel.
Thanks
