rear sway bar hitting 12 bolt?

Default rear sway bar hitting 12 bolt?

My rear 21mm sway bar is hitting my ktre 12 bolt not that i added a TA cover any recomendations? thank you

I have heard of this problem begore. Run a search. I'm sure there was a spacer available to go between the axle shaft and the swar bar brocket to allow the bar to clear the housing.

Go to Lowes or HD and pick up some flat bar stock and make spacers for the u bolt mounts. My car needed about 1/2" to clear, so I cut 4 pieces of 1/4" thick bar stock and drill it as a spacer.

my stock rear swaybar would slightly rub on the bottom lip of my ta cover on my strange 12 bolt when I first got it.... it quickly resolved the problem by filling the t/a cover at the point by itself (it just rubbed the raised lettering off)

i use a BMR rear sway bar mounting kit and it seems to give me adequate space, although i use stock rear sway bar.
